Oct. 5, 2005 - The California Association of Bed & Breakfast Inns (CABBI) is inviting senior citizens to enjoy the “comfort and charm” of inns and B&Bs this fall.
Follow Senior Citizens to Lower Drug Prices, Study Says
May 21, 2005 – If you want lower drug prices, just follow the senior citizens to the pharmacy they use. That is the suggestion of award winning research by Adrienne Ohler, graduate student in economics at Montana State University.
“If you want consistent prescription drug prices, maybe you should invite more senior citizens to move to town,” writes Carol Flaherty of the Montana State University News Service about the Ohler’s study.
Amtrak Offers Seniors Discounts
May 12, 2004 - Amtrak travelers aged 62 and over receive a 15% discount off the applicable adult rail fare on most Amtrak trains (Discount does not apply to sleeper accommodations, the Auto Train, or weekday Acela Express or Metroliner service). Valid proof of age required. Additional restrictions may apply.
